Here in TN they call that the Move over law. There are signs posted every few miles reminding people about it. You're the first person I know of that's gotten a ticket from it though.

One of these mornings I will drive past the same trooper at the same speed with my crossfire and you will see what happens.

I will say doing 50+ over the limit rules out "cop magnet" in that situation but our cars are cop magnets.

The fact is this.... our cars attract attention. Cops don't mean to single us out but they do because our cars are very different and attract attention.
You can't claim an opinion as fact. You get pulled over because you're breaking the law. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if you don't want to get pulled over don't give them an excuse to. This is coming from someone who has had 4 tickets this year. Everyone of them my fault since I was breaking the law.

so lets go over what we've learned today,

1. If you want to decrease the likelihood of getting pulled over by the cops don't break the law.
2. My opinion is not the same thing as a fact.
3. Your opinion is not the same thing as a fact.

Now if we need to we can go back to that elementry school that failed you and see if you can get a refund.

I know I pass a sign on I-35 in Kansas all the time that says move over OR slow down. Never heard of anyone actually getting cited for that unless perhaps you were too busy gawking at the Trooper and almost hit her.
Here (TN) it means if you've got a free lane next to you, you must move over. Otherwise slowing down is enough.
