I-24/40 merge is a dangerous spot to do 80 in, let alone 105.

In that section of the city, doing the speed limit can get you killed as it's simply a bottleneck for all drivers, both adept and stupid. When you force 60% of Nashville traffic through a three-lane section at highway speeds, it's a recipe for disaster.

I have been known to act a clown on highways... but generally speaking they're wide-open with light traffic and high visibility.
