I don't usually read postings on traffic tickets; it just makes me wonder how some people can even find their way home after work. Nevertheless, Here are some quotes from my CHP days in South LA....."You just stopped me cause I'm driving a Corvette(Porsche)(Mercedes)(Cadillac)(red car)(silver car)(fast car)...and one that I often heard in upscale areas. "You just stopped me cause I have an expensive car and you can't afford one".

Here's a fact. Cops look at cars. Some cars attract more attention than others. Some for their appearance, some for the way they're being driven. Calling your car a "cop magnet" is a puny excuse for getting a ticket.
Years ago, one of my motor partners working the I-405 spotted a "plain Jane" car driving about 75 MPH tailgating another car at about 10 feet in the Number 1 lane. He pulls the guy over who tells him "I'm Mickey Thompson, and I'm a professional racer". My buddy replys, "Maybe so, but I bet that guy you were tailgating isn't".
