Every once in a while, on a wide open road with lots of forward visibility, I crank the Crossfires or the Audi A6 to 100+ with the clear recognition that instant on will nail me. So I tend to follow fast bear bait, lagging a quarter mile, and wait for radar to paint them. I failed to follow my own advice in TX this past Saturday and became one of the few drivers to be ticketed for 75 in a 70 (in most of TX, that would be obstructing traffic), but he turned around and followed me to be sure I was out-of-state before burning me. I'm just glad the few times I drove my roadster to 140, my SRT6 to 150, and my A6 to 150 there were no enforcers of the law around. If there had been, I'd be writing this on the jailhouse library computer.

Like I said.... My experience with cops in Texas tell me our cars are cop magnets. There is no reason you should have gotten a ticket for doing 75 in a 70. Not in Texas!
