Easy enough to say shift earlier, but nothing else I've ever seen comes up so quick, and nothing else takes the wind out of one's sails like having the car go brooooomfff with the nose 7" in front of the Camero (but would I still be 7" in front?).
Get Eurocharged or another tuner to raise the rev limiter in the first two or three gears.
It won't really change anything except the speed you are going when you hit it.
