You're not crazy - I like it too (or maybe that just means we're both crazy!). I think that much in same way Cadillac has turned itself around, Buick is doing much the same thing. Sure, this may be an Opel Insignia with Buick badges on it, and sure, Saturn was put down after basically selling rebadged Opels, but I think Buick has a better chance with these more upscale editions of the various Opel models. Opel makes a really cool little hot hatch in the new Astra (2012 Opel Astra OPC gets 280 horsepower, 155 mph top speed) that could easily be a rival to cars like the VW GTI, MINI Cooper S, and Audi A3 as a premium small car. Same design language inside and out, which isn't a bad thing at all.
