Thank you for the support, everyone. You are all like family, and that is what has made ownership such a joy.
Kim is taking the next day or so off... It was definitely the imaginary brake pedal that got her. She has a light sprain on her foot but nothing else.
I will definitely be suiting up in another Crossfire (SLK55 is still a bit out of reach, Nick lol). But I have LOTS of deciding to do.
As for the search... I can DEFINITELY tell the prices have stabilized/gone up.
As Steve mentioned, I really want to stay with a white car. This, of course, rules out the SRT. Question is, will it be another white coupe with cedar? White roadster with vanilla? Kim is opposed to the roadster idea, but I think looking into an open-top white interior with some shiny silver paddle shifters would be dead-sexy.
Found a decent specimen, distance is not too friendly though:

As much as I'm a loyalist to the third-pedal crowd, I'm seriously entertaining the auto, with the paddle shifters being the FIRST mod. Simply put, they're faster. Also, the limits of the 6MT are still a bit cloudy, but we know the 5-speed auto will hold serious power. If I'm going to entertain the turbo, headers, etc... I want a robust gearbox behind it. I can't guarantee I won't be pushing an imaginary pedal with my left foot, though... If the right car comes along with a 6MT I won't turn it down.
I found a Bright Silver Metallic Crossfire up in Oregon that is a 2008 model with LOW mileage... in the mid teens. It has cedar interior with the autostick. I could swap over my Startech steering wheel with zero issues. I could also swap the SRT wing and make it the world's only BSM coupe with the SRT aero bits...

Steve also found my car's clone in Nashville... I may go check that out this weekend.
I still haven't heard a peep from the other insurance company, and it will likely be the 28th before any big decisions will be made, as that is the day the police report is made available.
I have photos, but I'm thinking it might be wise to let the smoke clear before publicly sharing.
My ears are STILL ringing from the airbags...
Thanks again for all of the concern expressed. Kim appreciates the kind words as well. You guys are FAMILY.
Cheers,
