Of course, not anymore, as I have come off the road. My municipality, and the sheriff have always provided this old traffic cop with some nice rides, as traffic was my assignment. Speed limiters were the 1st things to go. Don't knock those crown vics, without the limiter, they will run...I wish I had stuck around long enough to get a new charger...I like them, but I was around long enough for the Camaro's in '91/'92. Bottom line, you play at that speed for too long, your chances of getting caught just increases. Shorts bursts are all you will get by with on most highways...cell phones have ruined the long haul high speed days...be safe...

For years in the 60s and 70s I rode Harleys on the CHP in South LA. The fastest bike I ever had topped out at 102, and they vibrated so bad over 70 you had to use the median of the needle swing to know how fast you were really going. No radar in those days for CHP; legislators refused to appropriate the funds and some actually said that using radar wasn't "playing fair". Idiots.....Calling ahead was our enforcement d'jour. We motorcops loved rainy days so we could "ride" a car and catch people at 120 and up on the freeways.
