Default Re: Stock Supercharger Pulley and other mods...just thinking

I will fab up my own supercooler, that won't be too difficult of a project. Might even do a remote mount tank to help out. I will be installing a relay and switch to kick on the ic pump and fans when the car is off, this will help somewhat with heat soak inbetween runs. I've also always iced the intake on every car I've owned when going to strip. Usually also keep a garden sprayer with a methanol water mix to spray the radiator. In this case, the intercooler.
  • Can't believe it but I'm going to put the resonator back on, I just don't like the drone. It's really not that bad just right at the rpm's I drive on the interstate. I must be getting old. I'll probably try to source some electric cut outs and use those at the strip. Quiet on the street and loud as hell on the strip plus a few horses. That one fake button on the lower console would be a slick place to install a real switch to cut them on.
Did you get the stock manifolds from svtcobra? I was a little to late on those, I emailed him to see if he would like to trade for a set of 295/30/19 Pirelli pzero rosso's and he said he had already sold them. I think it was you. Good luck on your modifying. I was chicken to cut the inlet pipes on mine, I want a spare set.
