Yep, I think I grazed that when I said

Not really interested in shipping individual grommets/tiny pieces to fifty different states... we're getting the big stuff off, then crushing it.
Anything that is "tedious" will be taken back to my place for separation/shipping as there's no sense in holding up Steve's garage that he's so graciously offered. Although, if we time it right Steve, the SLK shouldn't have to spend any nights outside. Interior can be stripped in chunks, and I can do all "sorting" at home. The biggest piece (textured dash pad) is ruined courtesy of the air bag. Once the interior is gutted, the car can sit outside as the engine/exterior is always exposed to the elements. No need to shelter those. I owe you a case of Labatt's for your hospitality

Anthony/bluecoupe -- I'll have to inventory the headlights when we get the car back. At the moment, I have no clue what pieces survived. I know neither headlamp is usable, but pieces from them might be and will be FOC... not charging for a clip/seal and the shipping is negligible.

Randy -- Between you and Franc, that speaks for the interior so that collectively wipes that out. Mjgroves requested the silver console pieces, which shouldn't be needed for the color conversion as you can reuse the pieces from your SRT... I'll PM you and Franc regarding the cedar trim pricing. As mentioned, the dash pad is FUBAR but the colored pieces are in outstanding condition.

DJ -- I can ship you the RCM, no problem. I'll see if I can separate the speaker trim from the door panel w/o breaking it. Hopefully Randy's trim is OK and he doesn't need the replacement.

I'll likely end up keeping the engine as a spare, if for no other reason than I put $60 worth of Mobil-1 in it just under a week ago
