I must say, I've been very impressed (thus far) with the follow-up and handling by my insurance company (Farm Bureau TN). They are seemingly bending over backwards to assist me. Plus, they waived the deductible and are handling everything as if the other guy was insured. They said they'd simply go after him with no mercy once it all got wrapped up.

I should be in a rental by this evening.

I have a lawyer on standby, just in case, for the medical stuff but I pray I don't have to use him.
Car crashes can cause bad effects to show up later, months and even years later. Insurance companies get people to sign the settlement papers ASAP to avoid getting hit with these subsequent claims. You have your best hand before settlement, after that it's too late.

Use this to get the best deal possible for the buy back and car replacement cost. I used this to get them to give me a wrecked car for nothing. Just hang on like a pit bull.

It is to their benefit that all claims are settled ASAP as costs and late claims force up the final costs.

Remember they are not your friends, they just like money.
