As far as the wrenches go, they tell you which service is due next. One wrench means a service "A" is due. Two wrenches means a service "B" is due. You should have a service log with your car that lists what's required with each service. If you don't have one, there are scanned copies of the logbook on this site. I can't remember who posted them off the top of my head so hopefully the original poster will post us a link to his gallery (hint, hint).
