Yes for us Mountain drivers who love the fun of the Roads that twist...the gears show you 1-4 which is tapped with your back hand to the passenger and back to you when going down gears. For those I don't want to worry about the shifting the "D" is for drive in the Auto mode. Nothing special here see it now in most new european cars and Lexas.
