Re: Chrysler to Replace '05 Convertible Tops Under TSB - YAHOO!!
Attention all owners in Silicon Valley area with loose rear windows.
I just picked up my Crossfire from Normandin Chrysler with my new top. Steve Rodgers, Service & Parts Director, got Chrysler to pay for almost the entire cost. I had to pay only $200 for the new top. Understand some are paying as much as $650 for their share. They had my car for three weeks, also fixed oil leaks under warranty.
So first get a Chrysler Case Number, go to Chrysler.com, go to tab for Owners, then at bottom of page under Contact Chrysler click on Customer Care and send them an email complaining about your loose window. They will email you back a Reference Number and an Email Case Number. The Reference Number is actually the Case Number, don't ask me why.
After you get a Case Number take it to Normandin Chrysler Service Department. First you need to speak with Kevin Burton, the service writer for Crossfires, then ask to speak with Steve Rodgers, Service Director, and ask him nicely to contact Chrysler for you.
I purchased my Crossfire new, online from a dealer in Auburn, Washington and it was shipped directly to me in San Jose, CA by truck. That dealer couldn't do anything for me because it was one of those dealers closed by Obama administration. The car has never been in any of the eight states covered by the X31 warranties.
