Removing the headlights does NOT require removing front fascia, although I will admit that it is a heck of a lot easier if you do.

The key is the adjustment collar on the bottom of each that is next to the grille.
Once the securing bolt is removed, just spin this collar out by hand and that will give you the extra room needed for removal.

Upon reinstallation, get the light back in, start the collar back in a few turns, then secure the headlight with the upper bolts. Screw the adjustment collar back in until it once again just touches the lower mounting bracket, put the bolts back in and you are done !

( these adjustment collars in the bottom of the headlights are there to compensate for the variances of the body panel clearances that can occur during assembly )
