its nothing new. oil fumes are recircultaed back thru the throttle body to be reburnt to satisfy emissions. rob has developed a plug and play oil catch can the routes the fumes thru a container with stainless steel media to collect the oil particles and send the cleaned fumes back to the t/b. when you change your oil you simply remove the mount bolts of the can raise it up and use the drain at the bottom to remove the oil. i get 1 to 2 ozs. of oil at every change. thats a huge amount thats NOT being sent thru the s/c and manis to be reburnt
