Yea its a dual in dual out muffler. They are two separate sides that are straight through, its like having two mufflers welded together. We had the two separate mufflers up there, but I didn't like the way it looked so we found this option. It's true dual...Believe me I questioned that too when they suggested this for a more stock look, and I said the same thing. "What's the point of two pipes in one muffler?" But they showed me the muffler and it you can see straight through both sides. I also questioned about an X-pipe or H-pipe and was told that it was not necessary because the tips are so close together that the sound is already equalized.

I don't know if I know what you want me to paint. The muffler or that silver lining around it? Or something completely different? The better it looks the happier I am.
