Sure enough, the bottom on the drivers side has an "open" circuit . . . apparently there is a "repair kit" from Chrysler - I have ordered that, and will see what it consists of, then I can determine what is cause. I suspect that it might have something to do with the connection point of the heating element to the cable that then leads to the connector. Perhaps it is not "rugged" enough to withstand the weight placed on it and having the weight moved around when the car is drivern . . . . ?????
I will attempt to post more with pictures, once I get the parts and see what is required.
