Re: HID Kit help please
I appreciate the feedback on the brights, and considered this before I decided to try it. At worst, it's easily reversible, and I'll have a set of spares, since our cars use the same lamps for low and bright.
My experience so far with the dims, is that the time to "on" would be measured in miliseconds. The concern with the brights coming on instantaneously is not really very logical, at least from my perspective. I do need them to go OFF immediately when I meet another vehicle; this isn't a problem. I live in a very rural area (most of Mississippi), and the deer population may exceed the human population. I need as much light as I can safely have.
It may be that the HID lights can't take a lot of on/off cycling. I'll report back, good or bad, once I've had some time to form an opinion, or to see a failure.
I do have four good H7 lamps in the trunk, just in case.
