Question Re: Thinking of getting a crossfire but worried

Viewed a black xf earlier (link to auto trader page below) which I quite liked...it was in nice condition...few kerb marks on alloys (as expected), interior was excellent but just a couple outings were nagging at me....they possibly are nothing but just value your opinions before I make jump. (it has mot 06-12 & passed with no advisories)

1: Exhaust had been changed from stock twin outlet to one oval shaped exhaust, it looked real good but anything in it more than just an exhaust change? (should I be looking out for anything or is it just a blown exhaust been changed or for cosmetic purposes?).

2: service has stamps in it upto 2007 which was at 40,000 It now has 56,000 miles on it, seems a long time for a car of this nature not to be serviced for 4 years? Or is it normal...have they gone off service miles not timed intervals?.

It's on at £4290 & tried an offer of 4k cash but he wouldn't budge, considering I'd have to service it & tax it as it has none I thought it was a decent offer?.
Couple more have gone on that are priced similar so think I'm gonna hang on a little longer.
What you folks think?...go for it or right to hang on?
