So I was travelling somewhere in Mexico today and suddenly a wild Mustang Cobra of the Terminator variety appeared. Now all I knew is the guy came up quick and I assumed it was just a GT with Cobra badges until I heard the whine. He also had an aftermarket exhaust and maybe a cold air based on how loud his supercharger was. Anyway we found an open stretch and started at around 40 (horrible place to start for the xfire btw). By 80 I was a full length ahead and by 100 I was 2-3. We managed about three runs like that before hitting traffic and all the same, me pulling pretty hard. I got video, but it wasn't of the race itself (as I was alone in the car and doing 100 while filming with a cellphone isn't a good idea). I tried to get him to roll his window down to see what he had but he wouldn't. I guess it didn't help his ego any knowing my windows were down the whole time. Just wanted to share this as my car is only running the EC pulley and tune and that model Cobra was on the "must kill" list. Next up, C6 Vette.
