1: Exhaust had been changed from stock twin outlet to one oval shaped exhaust, it looked real good but anything in it more than just an exhaust change? (should I be looking out for anything or is it just a blown exhaust been changed or for cosmetic purposes?).

2: service has stamps in it upto 2007 which was at 40,000 It now has 56,000 miles on it, seems a long time for a car of this nature not to be serviced for 4 years? Or is it normal...have they gone off service miles not timed intervals?.

It's on at £4290 & tried an offer of 4k cash but he wouldn't budge, considering I'd have to service it & tax it as it has none I thought it was a decent offer?.
Couple more have gone on that are priced similar so think I'm gonna hang on a little longer.
What you folks think?...go for it or right to hang on?

Well, you are at the cheaper end of the market. The money you want to spend might not get you the perfect car. Even if a car has a full service history doesn’t mean its not with out faults. At the end of the day,if you feel that the vehicle is right, go for it or you might waiting around a long time looking for the dream machine. I say try it again, if it drives well and ticks most of the boxes, go for it. Good luck.
