Got rid of an old scenic (work motor) that was on its very last legs at same time as purchasing which enabled me to get the xf for £3100, allys need a bit of attention at a later date, tracking needs doing as it pulls to left a bit & on the way home a bulb error light came on but all lights seem ok, it's got xenons on could that be a cause? & the airbag symbol also came on?....starting to fear I've bought a dud?....the interior is lovely & it has a nice kenwood stereo fitted, 5 service stamps the last being at main Chrysler dealership this month, 47k miles, hpi check all clear.
It drives nice (took me a bit of getting used to the auto gearbox tough) & speed was an eye opener

Just a little concerned with above nigggles but for this price suppose its par for the course?
You say it has xenons on, as far as I know the XF doesnt have xenons as standard (correct me if I'm wrong) Xenons have a self leveling system every time you switch the headlights on and by law (UK) they have to have headlight washers. If you have a wheel at the side of your headlight switch to move your headlights up and down manually, you dont have xenons.
Is it an aftermarket HID kit?? Have you seen the new MOT system for 2012 regarding xenon and HID headlights?? If not read here.
