Same situation for me. I could not drive the Crossfire at night, and my wife avoided it when possible. I hope you'll enjoy the HID's as much as I have. Be absoultely certain that they are seated correctly. Having a little mechanics mirror will help.
I said the kits have everything; that's not quite true. The first pair had no double-stick (which I didn't miss) and no instructions (which would have been a problem if not for the go-by available here.
I still bought the second set (for brights) from the same company. For less than $40 for the pair, I didn't expect many frills. The second set came with instructions and doublesided tape, but lacked connectors that were included in the first set. They were not needed. I just want the lights to work, and so far they have done that wonderfully.
