I have a distributor, in Wisconsin, that would sell me a new still in the crate SRT6 engine for $2400.00 picked up, not shipped. So, if you were offering all the componets to someone looking to do a swap, unless that person was going to do all the work, it wouldn't be worth it. I would part it all out and make your new business money. I would not package a thing. You are in the parts business, not the "discounted" kit business...and that is being a helpful critique. I have a friend not 6 miles from me in the salvage business. The engines, the trannys, the wiring harnesses, the rear ends, all laid out on the floor in his building. Their family has been in business for 40 yrs. You want it all, you buy it all, piece by piece. As for all the little things, they are in the car on the lot. You go out, get what you need, bring it in, and they set a price. Usually pretty cheap, sometimes, if a regular, it is free. I like what you are doing by cataloging every piece, and I would stay that course. But that is just me. More money to made piece meal...
