I'm absolutely doing this. I could fab mounts for some speakers in the factory spots... but honestly, I don't have the room nor expertise to do that

I'm still running the stock speakers in the front. They hold up, even with 2 12" dvc Polk Audios in the trunk.

Infinity Reference 9632cf 2 way 6x9 (In individual boxes, secured by 1 inch thick velcro tape around the underside edges... which works surprisingly well. I can lift the entire setup by the top two boxes... and the subs+box weigh ~60lbs)
