My wife's daily driver is a 2007 C350 4-Matic with the large engine. It has around 25,000 miles on it on it now. It really is a nice car. When it was being serviced, I drove one of Mercedes' loaners and it felt like I was driving a totally different car. It was a c250 I think. In my experience, I would not have bought that car. It had a cheap interior and rode poorly without much power.

I just read a review which said that Mercedes has upgraded the C line and now only makes the c250 and c350 without 4Matic. The C350 has a 14 position seat adjustment. That is really a plus for my wife with her bad back. You may want to look at those. I do not know if the 4Matic on my 2007 gives the car such a solid feel to it but maybe that is the case. In my next trip to Phoenix I am going to test drive their new C350 just to see.

Had the chance over the weekend to drive a friend's 2007 S class Mercedes with a 12 clyinder engine. Now that was a nice riding and powerful car.

But when it is all said and done, I still like the looks of the Xfire. I guess my heart is with 2 seater drop tops.
