Sorry I just reread your first post and want to add one more thing. I do not know how old you children are BUT when I take the grand kids ages 10 & 8 in the Mercedes there is Not really much room in the back seat. I would rate it a 3 passenger car at best. The four doors help BUT again it is a tight fit in the back seat with booster seats, etc. Just something else to consider.

PS We are not tall people in the front seat.
