Re: Where to buy Spring Pads/Shims
At the time I was using Michelin Pilot Sport Cups 235/40/18 on the stock rims. 4 mm taller than stock. I just refrained from turning sharply while backing up. In the rear I had 265/35/19's on the stock rim with no rubbing that I remember. 4 mm taller than stock.
I'm currently running 245/35/18's on a 9" rim and 30 offset on the front with the same amount of rubbing. I have 285/35/18's on 10" rims with a 25 mm offset and have some rubbing on the inner fender well .... that I ignore.
I sold my Eibachs and gave away my spring pads in april. Now I'm riding on K&W Variant II. My car sits at 5" from the ground to the rocker panel just behind the front wheel and 5 1/8" at the rocker panel in front of the rear wheel.
