Default Re: Where to buy Spring Pads/Shims

Max,
The Aero came with 2 dot pads in front and 1 dot pads in back... when I lowered it with Eibachs and Konis it was fine with stock SRT wheels... then I got the AMG 810's. 18x8.5 fronts with 235/40 Kumho Ecsta's and 19x9.5 rears with 285/35 Kumho's. I get a little rubbing in front with full tight turns. I was getting rubbing in the rear when I hit bumps at speed so I went full stiff on the Koni's and put 3 dot pads in back.... I still get a little rub on sharp bumps so I am going to put the 4 dot pads in back... If I was using a 285/30 profile in back I would not have had to change most likely... the 35 profile is 26.8" tall versus 26" for stock... but I wanted the sidewall for ride comfort.... everything is a compromise...

Cancel your order for the spring compressors.... I have them in the Miller tool box.....
