Hold out for better than a 50-50 deal. Talk to the Service Manager or the owner of dealership. The Crossfire Service Writer at my dealership told me that the dealer has to agree with the deal Chrysler is offering. Mine, Normandin in San Jose, told them $200 was the most I should pay, and that is what I paid.
The MSRP on the new top (part # CNA6X310AA) is $847.00,
www.mopar2u.com (a Texas dealer) only charges $609.60 and still makes a profit. So there might be more room for negotiation. I understand that Chrysler was only paying $85 for installation.
