For anyone with a weak mat ... my story.

My floor mat (2005 base coupe) let go of the plastic holder on the driver door side and was a bit of a nuisance. The fabric just let go. I found that I was able to super glue the plastic piece to the bottom, rubber side of the mat, strengthening the whole 360 degree bits with very good result.
