Have now had my little X-Fire for about 6 months and it has been one of the best cars I have owned to date (predecessors include a host of crazy machines - the last being a '96 Bentley Turbo RL - now there is a maintenance-intensive car - miss the car but not the upkeep). I am getting 18-20 MPG around town (would be better if I kept my foot out of it) and up to 24-25 MPG on the highway (usually at excessive rates of speed - the thing just settles in about 90 mph - gets more solid, the faster you go!)... I still have a hatch rattle as I have been unwilling to do the "dealer dance" to get it fixed... Initial concerns about moisture in the headlight assemblies proved to be nothing (still clear after a lens polish and application of 3M's lens film)... At <$24K, there was just nothing close! ...Still isn't as near as I can tell!
