It was made in Germany...it's right on the driver's door where is was manufactured...I don't think I would buy from the Nissan dealer...lol... I haven't found anything Chrysler on this car...the designer's seemed to be under contract at the time, and finally Chrysler/Daimler agreed to build it, and assigned engineers to follow thru with it's production. The contract was given to Karmann and they built it. A lot of the vendors, all so far as I know were European. I always find it interesting in these conversations the percentage of what is German and what is American is always a different number... Does anyone really know? Like I said, my tires aren't even USA made...but a USA manufacturer. Chrysler is a USA manufacturer, but they didn't make this car...so does that make it American...LOL...Always love this debate...It is what it is...
