Default Problem with LED sidemarkers

One of my front side markers lamps went out, so I decided I wanted to upgrade to LED. So, I purchased some LED units that were supposed to work with Mercedes (Canbus error free, blah blah blah) and not trip the "lamp out" indicator. Well, I put them in and they work fine, but I am still getting the lamp out indicator. These are the ones I bought:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Any ideas to make the "lamp out" indicator go off? I dont want to put those gigantic resistors they sell at the auto parts store on there. Might as well just go back to incandescent if that is the case. But, if I can use a smaller wattage resistor and do the trick, I might consider it. Anyone know what might work?
