Yeah, it says buy LED's like I did with the Canbus no error etc. etc., or use load resistors, or remove the
"light out" bulb from the instrument cluster.
Buying what I thought would be the correct LED does not do the trick. I am wondering if I can just add a smaller resistor in parallel since these already have resistors. It just may not be quite enough current draw still. Giant 25Ohm 25 watt resistors really defeats part of the purpose of going to LED's in the first place.....The resistor just sits there sucking power just to keep the lamp out indicator from lighting. Also, if your LED really goes out, the resistor will keep sucking power and you will get no indication that the LED went out....so you might as well just remove the bulb from the dash, or just stick to incandescent I guess....
