My 2004 original window sticker says 1% US/Canadian and 80% German parts. An example of the rest; I have read that the headlight assembly was made in either France or Belgium.

There is no way that any car made today, or the last 15 years, had a single source country, unless maybe if it was a Chinese or Indian car.
