"06's were produced but, because of lagging US sales,none were supposed to be shipped here. owever, because of overalllagging sales and urguing inventory Chrysler did two things with the 2006 production inventory.

One, they put the car on the internet on "O" I believe this was the first and only time a production auto was listed on "O"

Second, they began an huge dealer incentive program offering as much as $12,000 per unit for the sale of post 2006 production cars.

My 2006 spent over one year on a limetsone gravel lot at it's Port of importation. I had to replace the etched windsheild which was not covered under warranty.

Whether 2006 models were produced in that year and not the fall of 2005 I cannot attest but.....

I spent 6 months looking for the one I wanted and got the same story from many of the sales reps I had contacted in my quest. I have no reason to doubt it and can only assume it to be true.
