I did this mod to my roadster and while it looks nice I don't expect it to hold up. I bought cheap LEDs from one of the sources in the OP and the adhesive wasn't very good. After a week they are already coming loose. Love the look and it's a quick and easy mod but I'd recommend trying to locate a better quality LED strip.
