the cure is like Goldwing said,,,wrap the latch hook where the hatch closes to wrap it with elect tape ,,get a piece about 4" long and wrap it tight around the U shape catch, ,,when you close the hatch it should have a new closing sound to it . this way you don't have to adjust anything. jim
