Re: new to the crossfire
The one easy and cheap thing that I'd suggest to you is to get the Magnaflow #14220 stainless steel muffler. Its a universal fit, but fits our car just fine, many have gone this route and in our opinion, it sounds GREAT! I paid $109.00 for the muffler and another $60.00 for the install. I'm not sure about the amount of hp gain, but it sounds very good, about as close to a V8 as your going to get. Another option for you would be to have a custom true dual exhaust set up done using a dual in and dual out muffler. I also know that K&N makes filters for our cars and its with mixed reviews here about hp gain, so its up to you on that one. I'm leasing my car and thats why I didn't go with new K&N as the stock filters are good for 4/50K, so why change them out when the car will be turned way before I get to either interval. Good luck with your car and you really need to find a winding road to see what these cars are really all about!
