It has a harness connection on the back side, the two slotted plastic screws simply hold the panel on. Driver's side is blank, passenger side has the key slot.
You can barely see it in the far right of this photo... middle-ways up.

I have just checked again and I have no key slot in my 2006 crossfire! Just 2 stickers which I have just removed (incase they were covering up the slot) and no key slot!
Many thanks for the kind offer which I will gladly accept - please name your price!! At least then I can take the car to a garage and ask them to fit it for me.
You have made my day - my crossfire is my first child which I will not part with!
