I repaired my broken fob this morning and it all went well.

There is a LED behind the red lens and it lights up when you change the door unlocking/locking sequence, that's the drivers side only or all doors unlocking on one press of the button. The LED is the white component on the front of the circuit board behind the red lens.

Pressing both the lock and unlock buttons and holding them down until the red lens lights up will reverse the set up you have at present. You have to be near the car to do this.
