That is true. There was an accident on the track earlier in the day so they were taking extra caution to make sure there was not a second. That is not typical for this event.

Nevertheless, it is a lot of fun driving on the track. If you want to go faster, just hang back to make some space between you and the car in front of you and then gun it. woohoo!
