I'm a long time BMW guy who decided to go a different route and purchase a Hummer H3. What a mistake. Anyway, I've always liked the looks of the Crossfire and I'm thinking about purchasing one.
They sound much better than the M with exhaust, and I'll never own an American car again after the rustang and government motors experience(s).
I've been trolling for a couple of weeks and have a few questions regarding mods:
What is the general concensus regarding tunes? I plan on purchasing the Needswings dual air intake along with a magnaflow cat back and deleting the rear cats the day I purchase the car.... Will the tune take advantage of the slightly greater airflow. Can a mildly aggressive tune add HP and change the throttle mapping?
Are there tunes I can manipulate from my laptop (I had the Evolve tune on my M3).

May I be the first of many, to welcome to the Forum. We on this Forum would ALL say YOU made a very wise decision. These cars have always been very understated, and are now underpriced, and in my opinion, were built for FUN. Personally mine is used purely for pleasure driving only, not a daily driver. I have the SRT6 Roadster and am also located in Houston.
I am not sufficiently knowledgable to answer your questions, as at present my SRT6 is remaining stock, but I am sure some of our Forum members will respond to you positively. Welcome again.
