Terry - it'll be in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Any areas to pay special attention to during my pre purchase inspection? Thanks for the invite on May 19th btw, How are these cars on the track?

Max, I appreciate the heads up.

I saw a post or two about AMG brakes, is there a thread with a write up on the swap and a parts list?
Cullen,
One thing I would suggest you take particular note of, if buying a Roadster. Take a careful look at the rear window in the Convertable top, for signs of de-lamination or repair. The adhesive used by Chrysler breaks down, and the Glass window can fall out. Repair cost approx $2000 including new canvas. I have a contact that can repair the window, with new high tech adhesive for about $750. Apart from that, the usual things, like tires (Approx $600 a set), Wheel kerb rash Etc., and it would be good to have Ceramic Brake pads installed, to dramaticly reduce brake dust onto the wheels.
With regards to these cars on the track, just lately on our trips to the Dallas Track, we have been unlucky with regards to idiots, earlier in the day, doing stupid things, and causing the track officials to limit the speed allowed. Hopefully better luck on our trip there in April.
