Perhaps they axed the page because it was fast for all the
wrong reasons... SRT bragging about the AMG powered Crossfire is akin to someone recanting how amazing their ex wife was in bed. True as it may be, it still stings a bit.
Speaking of multiple marriages, at least Chrysler has an investment in J-Lo's Fiat.

That is certainly one possibility. But at least in watching the videos posted on the DriveSRT SRT6 site (when it still existed) it seemed that the SRT-6 design team lead and engineering team lead took a lot of pride in the work they put into the vehicle, in spite of the fact it was a re-hash of the SLK32. The tuning of the suspension and the stiffening of the body rigidity was part of the "SRT" touch. Sure the technology wasn't built from the ground up, but SRT should take pride in this unique car that has developed a devoted following (as it appears they were doing with the site... until they took it down!).
At least they were even-handed in their decision to remove the heritage vehicles sites, looks like all of the old SRT models that previously had a devoted URL are no longer on the site.
