Default Re: Black Limited Roadster. 2,500 miles

The only reason I have my Crossfire to begin with is its affordability. Had I not been able to get it for the great price I did I would not have a cool daily driver to run around in. I am a firm believer in the concept of supply and demand controlling values. It seems that these cars are not that popular among the masses so dealers cannot ask a premium for them. All the better for me in several aspects. First the prices remain in the affordable range. Secondly I don't see them running around everywhere I turn. In the time I have owned mine I have seen 1 other in person driving down the street. I have heard of 2 or 3 around but have never seen them, and I travel around the region fairly frequently. Its rarity is a big plus to me. I don't care whether everybody and their dog wants to have one or not, I have one, I love it, that is all that matters.
Would I pay $20K for one just because of so little miles? If that is what I was looking for, sure. Are that low of miles high on my priority list? Nope. Its still a 5 year old car no matter how you look at it. Store it for 10 years without putting any miles on it and I bet it will be worth considerably more then. Either way, not what I am after so I would pass. I would never knock anybody for shelling out the $$ they are asking for this car to have one that is probably as close to brand new as you can get anymore.
