Not to cry in my IPA but I did a follow up with my primary care doc today and she was REALLY p/o'd that ICU discharged me the next day AND that I went to work 2 days later. Got told to take a week off from work

So...I tell her I've had an increasing pain in my arm from the huge IV needle ICU put in. She had me go straight to the hospital for an ultra sound where they found 3 blood clots in my arm. 2 are in secondary veins and not that threatining but one is in what they call a deep vein. OK straight back to the PC doc and she has a somber concern about this. I start to get un nerved. I then get taken in the back and shown how to inject myself in the stomach with 80mg of lovenox blood thinner. This will continue for a week and blood thinner pills as back up for 3 months. Never done this before I have a new respect for folks that have to do this daily.

I guess Im unnerved by the uncertanty of these clots having the poitential to take me out in a blink of an eye. I am really gaining perspective on whats important in life God and family...that includes you guys.

This May I get 2 weeks vacation time. Count me in on an upcoming event, Nina and I would like to see you all in person
