This process works really, really poorly in areas with acid rain. I would never advise to allow a car to just air dry unless you were washing with R.O./D.I. water.

I also don't mean to sound like a shill for my employer, but since this seems to be a pretty open topic on quick detail sprays, easy ways to wash, etc you guys might want to check out a new product we introduced this year called Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere. It's a waterless wash product, similar to a mist and wipe quick detailer except that you can use it on a much dirtier car than you would ever consider a simple quick detail spray on. It follows, then, that you also use quite a bit more product in the process. I drove my Crossfire to Las Vegas for SEMA back in November and got rained on all the way back - 275 miles across the Mojave desert in the rain, so my car was pretty dirty when I got home. I needed it clean for work the next day so I used this on it, along with 4 folded microfiber towels to get the job done, and it came out looking fantastic. Leaves a nice, slick polymer finish in the process.

I will admit to being pretty skeptical about this process when our marketing team told me it was being developed. But since it's intro in November I've fallen in love with the stuff and use it all the time.
